As a small, award winning CPA firm, we deliver responsive and personal attention to our clients. Our mission is to provide our clients with the utmost quality professional service and guidance.

We are a dedicated team with more than fifty years of combined experience providing business and technical solutions in the areas of accounting, tax, management consulting, financial planning and technology. We strive to provide inventive and lasting solutions while developing long-term relationships with our clients.

Carmen Julia Aguiar, CPA, CFP®
President / CEO

With over twenty years of experience as a practicing CPA, Carmen has acquired an exceptional and diverse knowledge base. Carmen enjoys developing close relationships with her clients, allowing her to understand their risks and goals. Her primary emphasis is serving as an advisor to businesses, developing pricing strategies, visioning, and goal setting. Carmen specializes in providing tax services to individuals, families, businesses and not-for-profit organizations. By undergoing continuous education, Carmen stays up to date on current tax laws and legislation, allowing her to offer her clients the latest key tax planning opportunities. Carmen is fluent in Spanish, enabling her to reach the Spanish speaking community and assist them in achieving their financial goals. She also provides presentations regarding taxation, personal financial planning, and leadership development.

Carmen is passionate about the community both socially and monetarily. She has devoted many volunteer hours serving on boards that foster community development as well as provided her professional services for not-for-profit organizations.

Network Administrator/IT Consultant

As a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and Technology Consultant, Cesar enjoys helping small businesses make sense of technology and use it advantageously to reach their full potential. He can assist you in reaching the Hispanic markets by translating your website and literature.

Nancy B. Lucas, CPA
Tax & Accounting Manager

Nancy serves as a Senior Tax and Accounting Consultant to individuals and small businesses. She has been a member of The Aguiar Group for over fifteen years, providing high quality technical solutions in the areas of tax and accounting.

Viviana Aaron
Staff Accountant

Serves as tax consultant to individuals, small businesses, and non-profit organizations. Is proficient in the use of QuickBooks to help maximize business performance. Provides bookkeeping and tax preparation services. Is fluent in both Spanish and Hebrew. In her spare time she enjoys reading, cooking, and crocheting.

Mike Guilbeault
Tax Processing Coordinator

Mike primarily focuses on coordinating and preparing client's final tax return package. Mike also maintains office computers and printers as well as assists in other accounting and administrative tasks.

Rabecca Buchanan
Staff Accountant

Becca is an aspiring CPA currently in her last quarter at Bellevue Community College then moving on to complete her B.A. in Accounting. Becca helps in research projects, client communications, along with assisting in tax returns.
